Timesheets - Multiple Lines Per Entry Delta
You might want your timesheet lines to compare the employee's start and end times with the total number of hours worked in order to complete the Delta on the timesheet, this means that if an employee has created a timesheet line with a start of 9 O'clock and an end of 10 O'clock and then inputted the 'Time' field with '1.5', the timesheet delta will show as 0.5 and the line will be highlighted red. If the employee instead populated the 'Time' field with 1 so it matched the start and end time difference, the delta would show as 0 and would not be highlighted.
To enable this navigate into Administration -> Company -> Settings -> Timesheets -> Timesheet Settings.
Under the 'Other Settings' section you'll find the 'Timesheets - multiple lines per entry' field, by setting this to Yes the timesheet delta will adjust to comparing the start/end times with the Time field rather than using the employee's working hours.
Please Note: Both positive and negative deltas will both be highlighted as red whereas a neutral delta (0) will not be highlighted at all.
