To duplicate fields in a form, the clone functionality can be used in the form builder.
Browse to Admin > Company > Form builder > Add Form
Complete the mandatory fields and click Submit.
On the form builder select a name for the first section that will be added. This will be copied to the Database Field Name.
Set the Clone Field field to no
Enter a field description if required
Set Mandatory field to no
The Field Order field allows you to set what order this particular field will appear in the form.
Select Clone – start from the field type field
Enter a narrative in the Values field – This will appear as a heading at the beginning of this section.
Now, the field that you wish to have duplicated in the form will need to be created. You can follow the same steps to creating a field, however, the Clone Field field will now need to be set to Yes
The last field of your cloned section, the Clone – end will need to be created following the same field creation method.
The clone field would be set to NO, as below
Click Finish Building Form.
This will be what you should expect to see when you are in the form builder creating a cloned section.
To see how this works, browse to Forms > Select form via the magnifying glass icon
The form you have built with the cloned fields will be active and functional
The Duplicate Fields button will allow you to duplicate the fields that have been created in the form builder
