There are a few ways to begin submitting a Time off request on NaturalHR. From the Homepage you can click the Request Time off button, or if it's hidden click More Actions -> Request Time off:
Alternatively you can navigate into Self-Service -> My Requests -> Time Off which will take you to a page similar to this:
To request time off from this page just click the Add button.
- Select the type of time off which you wish to book (Types may vary depending on your company policies and how the system has been configured eg, annual leave, holiday etc).
- Input start date, end date, calculate the duration (or add it manually if this field is available) and enter any comments (adding comments is optional) as shown below
Once all the above has been followed, select "Submit" to send the request to the approver (usually your Line Manager)
This request will then be responded to by the approver who will either "accept" or "decline" the request. You will then receive an email notification informing you of the outcome by your approver.
Updating / Deleting Time off Requests
If you need to make an adjustment or delete a time off request you can only do so if your time off settings allow this.
To make these changes you will need to go to:
Self service -> My requests -> Time off
Alongside each time off record is the Action button, once clicked it shows the options available to the user including View, Edit and Delete.
