Error 603 - Too many failed log in attempts
When logging in to Natural HR you may see an error message with this text.
Error 603 means that you have made too many failed login attempts (attempts where either the username, or password, or both) are incorrect.
This is the only condition that will cause this specific error message to appear. Any other error type of login failure will generate a different error code.
To prevent brute force attacks, after multiple failed login attempts your account will be frozen for 15 minutes. You will be unable to re-access your account during this time even if your password has been reset. During this period, any further failed attempts will only reset the timer, so it is best to wait until this time has passed before trying again.
If you are having difficulty logging in, please contact your Natural HR system administrator or HR team who can reset your login details on your behalf. Please note that Natural HR support staff do not have access to passwords, and cannot reset your password for you.
How do I enable a user who has been locked out?
As an administrator, you will be able to spot which of your user accounts has been locked out in the Company Users list. A red padlock icon will appear alongside the actions, next to the locked account, to signify that this account has been temporarily disabled.
This page can be found either under People > Users or Admin > Company > Company Users.
