When creating a new password, there are certain factors that need to be taken into consideration so this will be accepted by the Natural HR system. These include:

• Your password being difficult for others to guess. The password you choose should not be used on multiple sites. 
• We recommend a mix of upper, lower and numbers plus special characters if possible - do not use dictionary words or names and a longer password is better.
• The system will not let you use certain commonly used passwords and your password must be at least 8 characters long

If these pre-requisites are not met the system will not allow you to create the password.

We maintain a list of commonly used passwords which have been taken from sites which have been hacked previously - if you do attempt to use one of these commonly used password, the password will not be changed and you will be presented with an "Error 35 - please choose an alternate password" message like the below:
