Displaying requisitions created in Natural HR in your company website careers page
Natural HR allows you to create requisitions and then display them in your company website careers page.
There are basically 3 steps:
- Create a Job page template
- Add a Requisition
- Create a Portal key
Create a Job page template
To create a Job page template go to:
Recruitment -> Options -> List page settings
Click on the 'Add' button and you will see a lot of options to choose from, some of the options such as page width, fonts and colours may require support from your website administrator as well as your marketing team who can provide you with a branding guide.
Please note, for colours you must use the hexadecimal value of the colour, not the RGB values. There are many resources available online which will convert an RGB to hex.
Complete as much as you can of the Job list page, Job detail page and Application form sections, at the bottom of the page you can add up to 10 custom questions which will appear on all requisitions.
Click on 'Submit' to save your changes, making a note of the template name, especially if you are creating more than one. You may want to do this if your business comprises multiple companies or perhaps multiple sites with different languages.

Add a Requisition
To add a Requisition go to:
Recruitment -> Requisitions
Click on the 'Add' button, if you want the Requisition to display on your website careers page, ensure:
- Requisition status is active
- Adhoc requisition is set to No
- Show on portal set to Yes
- Go live date is not set to a future date
- Closing date is set to a future date
Complete the rest of the Requisition form, filling in as much detail as you can. In addition to the questions you may have added in the Job page template above, you can also add up to 5 role screening questions that will only be displayed in this Requisition.
You can attach a more detailed Job description if you wish. Please note, the Internal attachment will not be displayed on your website careers page.
If you are going to use an external recruiting jobs board, please take note of the information shown here:
'These are free Jobs boards to which we submit your Job postings - there is no guarantee that the boards will display your jobs unless you upgrade to a paid account with them. Further. If you choose to delist a job from the jobs board by unticking the boxes below. It Is down to the Jobs board In question to determine when this will occur.'
At the bottom of the screen you will see two direct requisition links. Clicking on the first link will show you what the requisition details will look like
Clicking on the second link will show you what the application form will look like for this Requisition:
You can make any adjustments to the details by updating the Requisition or by editing and adding or updating Job description, Responsibilities and Qualifications information in the corresponding Job role via:
Administration -> HR -> Data management -> Job roles

Create a Portal key
Now you have at least one Job page template and one Requisition you can create a Portal key via:
Recruitment > Requisitions
Click on the 'Other actions' button then the 'Portal keys' link at the bottom of the screen and then click on 'Add' at the bottom of the next screen.
Here we can give the portal key a name, set any site permissions (if you leave this blank then all jobs from all sites will be displayed on your website careers page), choose the Job page template created from above and your preferred language. Then click on 'Submit' to finish.
Here you will see your Job key(s), you can click on 'Add' to create other keys if you want to set up web pages for different sites and/or languages. Make a copy of the job key URL, this is the key you will use in your company website careers page.
Forward this portal key to your company web administrator(s) they can then incorporate this into an <iframe>, please note however you may also need to add https:// to the portal key for it to display correctly e.g.
www.naturalhr.net/hr/recruitment/jobs/4dc4ece540c0935750d6232ca5d8f6f
https://www.naturalhr.net/hr/recruitment/jobs/4dc4ece540c0935750d6232ca5d8f6f
Please note: these links are for demonstration purposes only, they will not work.
Once your portal key is successfully added you should see your Requisition(s) displayed. Any new Requisitions will automatically appear here, any Requisitions that are closed will be automatically removed. The appearance of what you see here is controlled by what you add or remove from Requisitions and any modifications in terms of fonts, sizes and colours you make to your Job page template, so this should be taken into consideration if your business updates or changes your company branding.
If you have created an Adhoc Requisition, you can see it and apply by clicking on the Register your details button.
Any Candidates shown who have applied for an adhoc position will be identified like this:
