How do I replace my dashboard metrics with a custom dashboard?
By default, for all Manager and above users, a dashboard will be displayed on your Natural HR home screen comprising up to 25 default tiles. However you can filter which of these tiles you want to see using your 'Dashboard metrics' option in the top right user menu.
If you have the Natural HR Analytics option enabled, you can create custom dashboards via the 'Report builder' option by going to
Reporting -> Report builder
Click here to read more about creating and sharing dashboards. These dashboards can have tables, charts and tiles on them, and can include drilldowns to load other tables, charts and tiles as well as other custom configuration options.
Set as home dashboard
When you have added reports to your report builder, and added the reports to your dashboard, you will now have an option in the settings options at the top of the dashboard management screen labelled 'Set as home dashboard' shown below:
Once this option has been selected, the system will automatically replace your home screen dashboard tiles with the custom dashboard that you have created.
It is worth noting that the dashboard is now fully controlled from the options found within the report builder and is no longer impacted by either dashboard metrics or by any display settings relating to the default dashboard.
At any point, you can disable the dashboard and return to the default settings by using the "Remove from home dashboard option" shown below which can be located at the top of your report builder dashboard management screen.
Please Note: You can only have one dashboard selected as home dashboard at any time - if you select another dashboard and set as home dashboard this will change the home dashboard.
IMPORTANT: The dashboard will load each time you go to your home page the dashboard will reload as it gets the most up to date data each time it loads. You should, therefore, be aware that the more items you have on your dashboard the slower the home screen may become to load.
