When creating a report in the Natural HR Report builder, it is possible to apply one or more filters to control the amount of data that is reported. In this example, the report is filtered to show specific time off types, in this case, for any sickness time off type. 

In this report there are 27 individual records related to the specified sickness time off types.

You can reduce the number of records further, perhaps by adding a date filter. Some of the options allow you to specify a range of dates between a start and end date, greater than or equal to a date, this month or this year. There is also an option to filter just on entries with today's date (Today)

In this report, with the filter set to 'Today', only those absences occurring today will be reported.
