Default timesheet approval reminders
By default, when an employee submits a timesheet for approval, their manager will see the following notification that a timesheet has been submitted and requires approval, within their To Do's section:
Clicking the workflow notice will redirect the manager to the Timesheet approval page where they can make their decision regarding the timesheet in question.
The manager will also receive an email notification telling them that one of their employees has submitted a timesheet for approval. They can click on the 'Action Now' button to then log in to Natural HR where they can then approve or decline the timesheet.
By default, if the manager does not action the request i.e. Approve or Decline, they will receive two further reminders. The first reminder will be 3 days after the submitted date and the second reminder will be 7 days after the time off request submitted date.
The settings for these reminders can not be changed or modified, but can be set in a workflow as escalations which is why you can also disable the default reminder option. To do this go to:
Administration -> Company -> Settings -> Company settings
Then select 'Disabled' from the Default timesheet approval reminders dropdown, followed by clicking on 'Submit' to save your changes.
